A Poem for My Unborn

I love you and you're not even here yet.
But you will be in June, so i'll see you soon.

I don't know your name, I don't know your sex.
But I love the suprise, that part is the best.

I can't wait to see you and I promise I won't leave you.
I don't know my father, so a father I will be to you.

You have changed my life and only for the good.
You put me in a nice place, way away from the neighborhood.

You make me work harder than I normally would.
Because I want you to have everything I wish I could.

And if there's anything I can do for you once you arrive.
Just know that I am here to provide unto my demise.

For you I live and I die.
And please forgive me if I cry.

I love you.
