Life > Tragedy

Lately, the news has been increasingly sad and horrific. However, sad news at times can denote tragedy. So it remains a necessary evil.

I mean, should we turn our heads in denial and act as if we live segregated from danger, from life? Our biological clock is forever ticking until it stops; sometimes abruptly. Are you ready?

I think the sooner we accept life as consisting equally of the positive and negative, the sooner we can begin to cope with tragedy.

But how?

How does someone learn to smile again after being engulfed in poverty, haunted by torture or even surrounded by death?

It's something you must live, I think.

The world is large and is far from perfect. You must take someone else's misfortune, their story; soak it in, learn with it and grow from it. Accept it for what it is and live opposite from it, because safety is not guaranteed in life.

It is not so much which cards you are dealt, but how you play those cards. Take what you have in hand and make the best of it. We cannot predict the future but we can definately plan for it.
Smile and try to be happy in life, as it is not promised tomorrow.

Aim for the stars, for there's none too high.
